Hi. I’m Charlene. I’m a 28 29 year old girl living in San Diego, CA. I’m a Capricorn with Virgo rising and my Moon is in Leo. For the past few years, my Monday to Friday consists of doing administrative work for an audio/visual production company. Since attending community college since I was 18, I’m managed to rack up approximately ten years of lower level classes in a desperate attempt to avoid my fear of moving on to a university. Eventually I hope to get my B.S. in Computer Science (with a concentration in Computer Information Systems) at CSUSM.
Computers, photography and music are my passions. I’m a Mac 90% of the time. I have always loved photography, from my high school photography class days when I used a Ricoh film SLR. Now I currently shoot with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi dSLR Camera. I’m all over the board when it comes to music. I learned how to play guitar when I was younger, and unfortunately hated it – I guess I’m more comfortable on the spectator side of the arena, although lately I’ve been singing again. These days I depend on iTunes, Pandora and SiriusXM for my fix. Did I mention my love for talk radio? Yeahh.
Why write? It gives me insight. They say it’s hard to see the forest amongst the trees. Sometimes I wonder if a written journal would be more appropriate, but it always falls to the wayside. Time after time, I always return to the public forum. I feel it keeps me honest and encourages me take a realistic look at myself, knowing that the whole world can see my thoughts and feelings posted in a public forum.

I’ve recently only begun to truly find myself over the past few years, as a majority of my growing up was spent in a cloudy haze. I’m always looking to use my skills to make a positive difference in the world – a contribution towards the greater good. Therefore, I pray and ask for guidance as to what God’s plan is for me. It seems to be working out ok so far. People and opportunities just keep showing up in my life as if on cue. It’s really kinda magical how things just happen when you let them. ♥
